Weeds will reduce moisture, nutrition, sunlight and growth space that is needed for your gardens. Even helping a community create the same garden can be satisfying.
If you want to plant in November, you can just be sure you do this before the first frost penetrates the soil. Make sure to remember that annuals grow bloom, set seed, and die in one growing season. They come lighter and even in special colors if you so desire.
The single most common mistake in planting of seeds is planting them too deep. When gardeners think of ground covers, the goal is to cover barren ground, control erosion, and/or suppress weeds. The best way to water your plants are to moisten the soil around the roots and a little below so the roots have some place to grow.
Using the proper amount of fertilizer will keep your plants looking a healthy dark green. Experiment and you may find something that will surprise you in its beauty.
