gardening caring for roses

Regular watering is essential to growing plants in a hanging basket. Garden weeds tend to grow rapidly while producing a large number of seeds and will spread very aggressively.

A quality potting mix that can retain water is a good choice when planting; you can even enhance your soil with water storing crystals. The most successful garden type is a bed rather than planting in rows. Taller bushes are great for added privacy.

Organic materials hold the water longer, which is better for the plants. Herbs are quite easy to maintain as well as very beautiful to view. Some bulbs become quite at home in your garden and will bloom more than once per year.

Now open your mind up a bit and get going. There is still plenty of time to plant, so get out there.
